we had Cody run around the track with a measuring wheel and the race course is 1142 feet/lap. the oval built into the track was 600'. our oval is 182' from outside berm to outside berm, with a 140' centerline and roughly 80' wide. we didn't take outside measures on the big track, but it's plenty big.

wow, 1/4 mile per lap almost. 4.6 laps per mile.
I never would have guessed. So i guess my truck gets 6.3 miles per gallon rough and about.
may have to go to a hybrid...
I know there's money in the RC Hobby........I put it there!

hmmm, i should get about 6 laps on a tank. my tank is supposed to be 150cc, and a fuel jug has 3780cc in it, which is 25.2 fill-ups, or 151 laps. 1142'/lap gets me 32.7miles. Troy was kind enough to time a few laps and said i was running 48-50s laps, which says in 128.5 minutes, at an average speed of 33.4mph, i could burn a jug of fuel on one receiver pack. sweet.
