Got to work this morning and looked at the wind sock and it was hanging there like a limp you know what. PERFECT! there has been 30 to 40 Km/h winds around here for a while. Probably only 4 or 5 days but man that seems like a long time when you can't fly. So like a good ground pilot I had a plane in my truck with a couple of charged batteries. It happens to be my newest plane the "gunfighter". 1/2 hr till work starts...might as well get a flight or two in. So the first flight went great! No problems! 2nd flight at about the end the Gunny started acting funny. I was trimming like crazy to try and get the bird to fly straight and level. No matter what I did I could not keep it under control. I brought it down to about 20 feet off the ground, cut the throttle and hoped for the best. I hit and from the distance I was at I saw large pieces go flying :o! So as I got to it I saw that it was just the canopy that flew off. But my fuselage wasn't centered on the wing. So I gathered everything up and headed back to the shop for further inspection. Upon pulling off the wing it was operant what had went wrong. The main wing mount where the bolt goes through into the fuselage mount. Well the fuselage mount was only glued in on one side. Ripping it clean out of the fuselage in flight. I will be contacting Horizon Hobby!

pic of the wing mount that has glue on it but did not glued to anything except for two little spots on the far left and right top! Still bolted to the wing!

pic of the fuselage wing mount spot without a drop of glue on it or any marks to say that there was glue on it!
